Systemic parental counseling - understanding your family's dynamics and increasing harmony in your family relationships.
NVR therapy - strengthening parents' presence and responsibilities in a child’s life whilst creating a revised idea of authority.
I worked as a psychologist in Germany where I met and supported a lot of families from diverse backgrounds. I am a certified systemic counselor (DGSF - German Association for Systemic Therapy, Counseling and Family Therapy) and a certified NVR parent coach (IF Weinheim). In my work as a parental counselor I will meet you with an open mind and appreciate your previous attempts to solve your problem. Together we will analyze your situation and work on finding the right solutions. In the course of counseling, we will regularly evaluate the current situation and decide on the appropriate course of action based on the current need.
Systemic counseling means:
- Emphasizing the importance of interactions.
- Assessing and treating a client's presenting problem within the context of his/her system.
- Interpreting symptoms as expressions of an imbalance in someone’s communication patterns or relationships.
- Seeing the client as the expert in his/her life.
- Assisting clients through curiosity and the right questions, to analyze the situation, discover various perspectives, overcome obstacles, and develop more effective strategies.
- Working resource and solution oriented.
I offer counseling in English and German online or, if you prefer face-to-face, in north Tel Aviv.
