Rachel Pearson

Hi, I’m Rachel Pearson, a certified lactation counselor with over 16 years of experience supporting mothers and babies through every stage of their feeding journey.

My path into lactation began when I trained with an experienced IBCLC from California who came to Israel to teach a private course. Following that training, I completed over 500 clinical hours of mentorship, gaining hands-on experience supporting breastfeeding families. I later completed additional training in Israel and received my Israeli certification as a Lactation Counselor.

Supporting mothers (both first-time and experienced) as they navigate feeding their babies is my pride and joy. I accompany families from pregnancy through weaning, helping them prepare for nursing, establish breastfeeding, navigate bottle feeding or pumping, introduce solids, and eventually transition into weaning when the time comes.

My approach is deeply centered on connection and support. Every mother and baby are unique, and I believe that when a mother feels truly heard, supported, and guided, she gains the confidence she needs to meet her feeding goals and build a strong bond with her baby.

I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional training and enrichment courses. I have also completed specialized training in flange fitting for breast pumps, a service I offer to clients during home visits to ensure pumping is comfortable and effective.

I work closely with each family throughout their feeding journey; staying in touch, offering guidance as needs evolve, and building lasting relationships with the parents I support. It is a privilege to accompany mothers during such an important and meaningful time in their lives.
I am based in the Jerusalem, Gush Etzion, and Beit Shemesh areas, and I am happy to travel further when needed.
