Verdiana Giusti
Hi, I'm Verdiana, an Italian pastry chef. I moved to Israel in 2019 with my husband and two children and immediately discovered that my baby was allergic to peanuts, nuts, and sesame. I had no background in food allergies, and found out the hard way how far behind Israel is in allergy awareness compared to the rest of the world.
As a family, we changed our lifestyle completely to accommodate the allergies — and quickly realized we weren't alone. So many families were struggling with the same things: finding safe food, trusting product labels, feeling calm at events, and being included in celebrations. So I decided to start my own business and do what I know best: delicious, beautiful desserts tailored to people who, because of their food allergies, rarely get to enjoy such treats.
🍰 Allergy-friendly cakes
I make cakes that everybody can eat, regardless of food allergies or sensitivities. I specialize in nut-, peanut-, and sesame-free cakes, with dairy-, egg-, and gluten-free options also available. Everything is baked in a dairy-only kitchen (no teudat kashrut).
🥐 Workshops & catering
I also offer private baking workshops, sweet tables, and small savory food catering.
✨ What makes us different
The first and (currently) only English-speaking, allergy-friendly cake business in Israel. My goal is to be as inclusive as possible, so everybody enjoys the party and no one feels alone.
