Hi, I'm Shelby Bernhaut, a mother of five boys and founder of Babies Are Us, a dedicated newborn care team supporting families during the early months of parenthood.

For the past nine years in Israel, I've been helping parents navigate the intense and beautiful transition into life with a newborn. I understand how overwhelming the first weeks can feel and my goal is to provide practical support and peace of mind so parents can rest, recover, and feel confident caring for their baby.

I lead a carefully selected team of five trained night caregivers. Each undergoes background checks and receives guidance on our care standards. When I'm not personally available, I send a trusted team member so families always receive the same attentive, calm, reliable support.

Our overnight care supports both baby and parents through the night. We assist with bathing, baby massage, gentle exercises to relieve gas, and soothing techniques to help babies settle and sleep. We also wash and sterilize bottles and pumping equipment, and care for the baby's laundry.

I place a strong emphasis on educating and empowering mothers. During our time together, I guide parents through what to expect in the first six months: daily routines, feeding patterns, sleep habits, and developmental milestones. Our team also supports families during brit milah ceremonies, with practical assistance and post-brit care for the baby.

Our overnight services are available in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ra'anana, Netanya, Hod Hasharon, Rehovot, and Rishon Letsion.
